Sounds a little tinny like an old am transitor radio from the 70's
but good to me
That song was a big deal when I was in high school . . .. I still have it on 45 RPM. With $5 you could put gas in Dad's car, take your date to Micky D's after a movie, and have change left over.
I thought of that song after Maggie May but kept thinking and remembered looking into my fathers eyes
when I was five at the end of his life
seems like we were cheated

I had a moment like that also but much later in my life . . .. I only hope that I will face my last days with the courage and strength that he did.
Now that I'm approaching what would have been "his" last few years I try to appreciate just the important things in life and "Live in the Now". It really is about family, health, and peace of mind.
On a lighter note here's some "upbeat" songs that go well on a Friday . . . especially in these tough times.
Cheers!
"Don't Worry Be Happy" - Bobby McFerrin
"I'd Like to Buy the World a Coke" - Coca Cola 1971
"Silver Threads and Golden Needles" - Linda Ronstadt
