First post-flu & 2020 ride!

Post by fish »

Rain and 50 mph gusts this morning kept me from my coffee village run, so to the reservoir (the Piaggio's 60/55W headlight can spot downed branches in the dark - but not so the LIKE200i's 35/35W headlight)

Just came back in from having a few Sam Adams in remembrance of the drummer from "Rush". My favorite deck chair and boom box are good to go.

Did my ride earlier today before I settled down. It was warm and lot's of people out dog walking. Very windy though again. I thought about the camera but just decided to take the Zuma for the ride. Only had one guy pull out from a side street but he stopped in mid flight and waved me on. I could tell he was genuinely sorry so I just waved him back and continued on. Such is life. Long live the ride!

Rock on man . . .. Glad you're feeling better.

Those pics are definitely "Grin" material.

This is what it looked like today . . . from another day recently.

Last night we thought the house was going to blow away! Man, the wind and rain was unbelievable! This was the same stuff that had caused so much destruction in the middle of this country a few days before. I am glad that it is gone now.

We are in the middle of buying a new home, so we will be moving soon. Luckily it is only about 20 miles from where we are now, but the ride during busy times makes it a 1 hour ride!
