Rose Parade scooters?

Post by fish »

All those white escort scooters in today's Pasadena Rose Parade...?
Are they SYM. or maybe Kymco's?
As married teenagers, my wife and I camped overnight to watch the '68 Rose Parade. Horseback policemen rousted us from our single sleeping bag during the night - we just raised up our left hands displaying wedding bands, and went back to sleep.

Had a quick skip through a video of the parade, haven't seen any scooters yet, but the parade is sponsored by Honda...?

Aha, just spotted a couple beside a float.
Looks like they're Honda Metropolitans.

Looked like a Beige Honda Met that I saw.

Great parade!

I was able to jump through segments of it on YouTube.

Bueno . . . and that B2 flyover was awesome. 8)

Well done !
Should be a big sale on a bunch of lightly used Metros at the local dealer!....not that one could live long in SoCal at 33mph.
