Newbie. My new Forza with some upgrades

Post by TomDuli »

Hi
Here is some pics of my bike with some blue upgrades + Akrapovic(with no DB killer) and Ohlins.
My next upgrade will be Ohlins springs kit at the front and Brembo front brake kit.

I would be real careful with the lower shock adapters that you have added. This picture was posted on a Adv rider.com...When I saw this, I took mine off. You are no longer pushing down on the crank case as it was designed, you are pulling the crankcase to the rear which the case is not stressed for.

Tnx fore the replay.
I will check it whenever I clean the bike fore cracks.
Maybe I have to find another way to lower the bike.

Yes, by the time you see cracks - it will be too late.

Fish is correct, you will never see this coming. Just take them off, the shocks you have may be able to be shortened thru adjustment , most of the high-end shocks will do that.

Looks great! (Although Jge64's pic is pretty scary.)

I for one would like your take on the ride improvement from the Ohlins. They are (for me) a pretty pricey gamble in the quest for a nicer ride. The Mallossi's are pretty expensive as well, but not at the Ohlins level, and they just look like regular, single tube shocks.
On my scoot, getting there is WAY more than half the fun!

but please, don't delete anybody, no matter how badly they deserve deleting :)

Hi
I can only compare with the original ones and it is a big improvement.
They come with 2 springs set.
Over and under 80 kilos.
You can adjust sag , rebouns and damping.
Take care
