125 Exhaust on a 150?

Post by MacDaddy »

It seems like most everything I've read so far say that the parts between the 125's and 150's are interchangeable. That said, is there any problem bolting a 125 exhaust up to the 150 motor? Seems like it shouldn't work right but perhaps the exhaust port on the motor is the same size between the two?

Every listing for aftermarket parts for the same year bike 125/150 has been the same. Different markets get different displacement specs for reasons of licensing, fuel economy, etc, but the external parts are all the same. Maybe some exclusions, but none that I have found.

Version one Pcx 125 header pipe is not interchangeable with next v2 ESP model 150cc. Thats due to new revised engine mounting redesign on the 150 series. I am not too sure about the compatibility between v2 ESP 125cc and Esp 150cc model though, but id say it'd be the same.
