Oil on the 300

Post by 87112 »

I am about to do another oil change on my 15 300. I used convention oil Chevron Supreme 10W 40 and about to repeat, I like the sound of conventional vs Semi Synthetic in the 300. More gruff, motorcycle sounding vroom vs the more sewning machine when it was on Motul semi syn.

What are the other 300 riders using?

Used Castrol Power1 10w30 in mine.
At least I think it was 10w30, it would've been whatever it says in the manual.
Four decades on two wheels has taught me nothing, all advice given is guaranteed to be wrong

Castro’s 10w-40 full syn motorcycle oil - was on sale at AMZN......Honestly, I’ve never heard a different sound from any of the oils that I’ve used...

Drain once. Don't replenish. Find an on-ramp.
Get a really cool sound.

In my car I am using the oil in the video. I get my oil changed for 24.99 at Firestone which comes to 30.xx with tax and little things like washer and dispose fee.

118,000 km, whatever 10w30 oil that is cheap. It doesn't matter.
