The last pic looks like it's taken from the inside of a prototype HAL 9000

The last pic makes me think of a '60s Sci-Fi also . . ..

Except I'm seeing either a dolphin, fish, or bullfrog emerging. It keeps changing. Not sure . . .. What was in that drink?

That's HAL's baby forming inside HAL. I know, HAL had a male voice...who knew it could get pregnant?

Hal just liked things the way they were, and that means Hal didn't want to be turned off. Somewhere out there Hal is just floating around, enjoying the solitude.

WhiteNoise wrote:maddiedog, really a robot mower? What the heck! And it works? Amazing! Gosh it sounds like the Jetsons moved in. Remember that cartoon? Of course You Don't
Tell me, can you set a pattern on that robomow? Examples: mow grass in tic tac toe (for the kiddies), or Waves to get your swim on?
What! I grew up with the Jetsons, Tom & Jerry, Elmer Fudd, all the good cartoons. I'm not that young!!!

The mower works great! It supposedly has mowing algorithms, but I think it just wanders around aimlessly until it gets low on batteries and finds the charger.

It's STORMING out today. I'm down with that though, my wife had me plant 4 raspberry bushes yesterday and 3 blueberry bushes. I also transplanted a bunch of nandinas to the front yard. They could use the rain.

It's also pollen season here in Georgia. I'm sure Mel's seeing the same stuff I'm seeing, just a yellow blanket of sneezing powder on everything. Rain is ENCOURAGED right now to wash all that mess away!

I can't Stop Sneezing!! Trees are coming alive. Pollen's here too. I see a small dusting on the hood of my truck! I changed the cabin filter a week (2) ago. Sigh, but it helps, it matters.

Delicious! You plant your own fruits, love that!!! Pick ripe (take taste test) sweet? Add a dribble of heavy cream or squirt of Redi whip or dabble of cool whip. Ice Cream!! Heaven :P

Nandina's? I just looked them up. They look Lovely and hardy.
Good choices maddie "Mom!" Keep those flowers and home fruit coming.
Can we please see a photo when they come to flower? 8) Gosh, I miss all my gardens.

P.S. Sun through clouds. Then All clouds, Showers expected. Thunderstorm's will pop up here n there. Present Temp 60. Tonight 49. Like the Chief said, need the rain to wash the sneezes away (pollen)

No rain today.

And it's a perfect day for a ride too. :D

But the grass is growing in leaps and bounds so priorities take precedent unfortunately . . ..

And the lawn mowing begins.

Early this year . . ..

Because it was raining a lot. :o

As an aside dandelions (lions tooth) are of great medicinal and nutritional value. Wildlife seeks them for fulfillment.

IMHO lawn maintenance should be nature maintenance. Keep those bees a buzzin. Our food supply depends on it!!!

The longer we live the longer we ride. ;)

I wanted to ride soooooo bad yesterday. Unfortunately reality dictates what we must do. Since my wife just got out of the hospital AGAIN, she is the priority. This is the 3rd time in less than a month that I have rushed her to the emergency room, where she was admitted immediately. This is getting old, but what else can she do when her platelet count drops like a rock? The doctors are puzzled. She is out of the hospital right now but has an appointment with her specialist this morning to see if she is healing or going backwards again. She seems to be allergic to her meds...really. That should give the doctors some sleepless nights.

April Showers! Looking forward to May!
Pollen getting worse. I got the timing pegged - Sneezing between pulling tissues.
Took stock in P&G "Puffs."

It's been a L O N G month
It sure has WN and across the Sound here it's forecast to rain to some degree 10 out of the next 14 days. Unbelievable. . ..

So many outdoor chores and projects to get done too.

Riding time will be at a premium. Short hops around town will be OK but taking longer rides of an hour or two will be tough until I can get caught up.

And how can you mow a soggy lawn?

Maybe easier to have a goat.

Piddlin' better than pouring me thinks ;) but still a p.i.t.a.!

Is it windy there, as in Gusty?
It is here and overcast :x
Days of rain about to commence. More is Not better, in this case.
And Our traffic is ridiculous! No riding this Saturday. Crap!

Yesterday:
I'm in my truck in the right lane moving 30-35mph (40mph speed limit on this one way/2 lane road).
I'm glancing about as if riding my scoot (good habit taught from moto riding ;)
Anywho, I hear rumbling (and it's thundering/raining too) but not that rumble, this was biker rumble.
Nope! Not biker rumble either...
Sports Car rumble and coming straight at my arse @ 65+mph!
His rumble was just about to move inside my cab! With a car in front of me all I could do was swerve to the right as far as possible (almost nicking the curb). At the very moment I swerved the driver behind woke up and swerved to the left lane - missing my left tail by degrees.
But wait! There's a 2nd asshole (excuse me) behind this asshole that was in the left lane (next to us).
I then gathered they were racing or pissed off at each other (you pick, it's no matter to me - just assholes!) so asshole 2 was now forced to swerve to avoid the jackass behind me that swerved in front of him!
You get the picture? A lot of traffic in front and behind us with these 2 racing into a pack of vehicles at 65+ mph weaving in and out of cars. Not that far ahead of us, our 2 lanes turn into one with a traffic light before it. All cars were stopped up ahead at that point. These two were about to join forces with "All That!" A Major collision was about to take place. Everyone froze in shock watching these two vehicles take over a two lane to one lane road.
OMG I wished the Police were around! I had no time to get their plate numbers. They weaved through the crowd like butter scaring everyone. At the traffic light they made a left turn and disappeared. Thank God no one was hurt. I Pray no heart attacks either.

End of awful Friday experience. Be safe fam

WN - Very descriptive "near death" experience . . ..

Unfortunately there is an endless supply of A _ _ holes on this planet.

I'm constantly checking my mirrors now.

You hear about those 30 plus vehicle accidents on major Interstates and stuff these days too. Too many, traveling too close and fast for conditions, too much of the time.

Well . . . no heart attack here but it was quite a story indeed!

Just goes to show you used those driving skills acquired through life to get you through one more time safely.

If those jerks continue to drive like that they will eventually get arrested or slam a tree or something. Fingers crossed they don't cross your path again.

On another note don't let it ruin your weekend and try to have a nice day! :D
