Earpiece

Post by Spaguar »

I'm looking for an inexpensive, simple, lightweight, bluetooth, single-ear earpiece for getting GPS directions from my phone while riding. No music, no stereo, no telephoning, just want to be able to hear the directions which is tough with just the speaker of the phone.
Any suggestions?

No specific suggestions but I guess I would give Banggood and Gearbest a good search.

Something like this will turn any headset into a bluetooth device and you can clip it to your jacket to control the volume.

Speakers like this have velcro and are flat. Mono is a bit weird, but you could probably just cut one off?

Yes, I just purchased one for 3$. https://www.gearbest.com/goods/pp_00917 ... ate_181017
Not sure how I will switch it on-off under the helmet but I guess I will do it before starting my ride. The price is worth the risk.
I also hope that I will not have to charge it frequently.

Worth a punt at the price.
