Required Tools,components for Complete Service/Maintenance

Hello,

I'm here from Sri Lanka, trying to perform the 10,000km Maintenance Service for my 2015 Honda PCX 150. I realised that it is hard to find an honest mechanic who can perform a pleasant PCX service nearby my city. So, I decided to move on my own.

As a Beginner what are the important facts that I should keep in mind beforehand?
Also,
I'm planning to purchase the complete list of Hand Tools, Power Tools, Consumables(brake fluids, cleaning agents), Accessories & etc. that will be necessary for the complete PCX maintenance.

Someone Please advice me on this regard. Your support is highly helpful for me.

Tools you need to do your own services;

The service manual
Wrenches, socket set (metric) & standard size ratchet
One small ratchet (5 inch) trust me on this one
Allen wrenches (metric)
Torque wrench
Impact wrench (never to be used to tighten, only loosen)
Cross tip screwdriver
Oil drain pan & funnel
5/8 spark plug deep socket & gap tool
Panel removal tool (plastic)
Large oil filter removal tool (rubber band type)
Feeler gauge
Variator holding tool (Honda's or homemade)

Don't skimp. You don't have to pay a fortune, but cheap tools will do more damage than good. A six-point set of sockets is wise, preferably forged not stamped. I especially warn you about cross-point screwdrivers. Where you are, you should not run into an older American Phillips tip. They are death to a precision japanese cross point screw. I bought a #1 and #2 from Vessel, and they are a joy to use. Vessel was part of the industrial design of the JIS standard - they make a really nice driver that works for all cross point style screws.

I bought a #1 and #2 from Vessel, and they are a joy to use. Vessel was part of the industrial design of the JIS standard - they make a really nice driver that works for all cross point style screws.

Yup - they drink Iced Tea by the gallon over here. I always tell my wife that the worst thing that you can do to a good cup of tea is to freeze it to death!

Just ordered a set of Jis screwdrivers from Amazon, types 1-3 - £25 all in but about 3 weeks delivery time. A bit steep for three screwdrivers, but they are good quality Vessel originals.
Got loads of tools and different screwdrivers already but having semi-rounded one of the screws long ago, thought I would take the punt and buy the correct ones.

Agree with the JIS driver but if you can't get one, file 1mm off the tip of a Phillips driver, it will sit better.

Bit more info...Vessel has a non-slip grip and good weight to it. Even includes an impact head. Tip magnetizes easily.
Fetch screw. Set it. Twist it. Even Strike it.
(My Dad would've loved these. Would've made a great gift!
