I went out on a ride a couple of days ago with my nephew. 250 miles on the big bike. Excellent fun at the time but I was knackered after about half an hour after the end of the ride. Stiff as a board.

Getting old...
That's a good day ride. No wonder you're sore. The spirit is willing but the realities charge a tax. o_O

Sometimes I get "Charlie Horses" after riding a while and have to stretch my leg out to try and relieve it. No highway pegs on my machines though. . .never wanted any either. ;)

In the old days they used to drink whisky to cure what ailed them. . .hence the adage "Feeling no pain". Not a bad idea really at the end of a long ride when you know you can put the keys away. ;)

Whisky is out but I usually take paracetemol before I go out for a long ride. I forgot this time...

I see . . ..

Ouch. . .sorry. o_O

You've got it sorted out then.

Sometimes after a long ride I may have an Irish Coffee and take a nap. . .or a beer or two. Gives me time to reflect and kick back in a chair to think about where to schedule the next ride when the sun is out. :D

At the end of it all just lookin for a place to rest. . .. 8)

I find that just getting lost on my PCX is the best
I live in South East Pennsylvania.
I just get on a back road and before I know it I'm in Amish country like Lancaster,Pa or up in the Poconos mountains
Or in new Jersey or Delaware.
Yesterday I was out for 4 hours I did a state park tour
I drove through 3 different state parks in 2 states.
I love my PCX...it's like a zen experience riding this scooter.

^ ahh, nice. That felt good! (even from where I sit).

2yous, but it works right? Else we'd be on the settee not in the saddle ;)
So down the hatch before I ride goes an ibuprofen and Coca-Cola's, Dasani's h2o.
Pack another bottle in dash glove caddy and off we go. Weeeee......
Oh the power...she Kick's in about 20 mins into the ride. Perfect!

However, just did a bone scan and waiting results.
Oh, o-kay, simples I'll take 2 ibuprofen's :D

When my wife needed to practice for her test we found out where there was a test course and checked to see if it was open to the public when they were closed for business. Then we rode over to the course and practiced until she was confident that she could pass.
