I had a Russian Cossack (Ural) combo in the 70's for a short time, oh what fun.

What is the long post that is visible behind the sidecar? Looks like you could trip over it.
By the way, my wife has but one comment on the sidecar. "Awsome!"

You talking about this Mel? Luggage area. Car has its own suspension, as well.

Arty shot of it early one morning.

Wow! Really nice setting on that last picture.

It has a luggage compartment?! Wow. Now that is travelling in style. I have seen all sorts of sidecars but I don't recall any of them having an extra luggage area. I saw one sidecar in which the owners put their large dogs while on the road. The front lifted up to allow the dogs to step out once they stopped. It still had the passenger seat as well. They were riding a HONDA Goldwing, so lots of comfort there.
