SH150i / SH300i

Post by forza300 »

Hi modsquad :)

Just a small, tiny little suggestion.

There are no (zero) english speaking SH forums on the net with any kind of regular activity worth reading (there are a couple, but extreeeeeeemely outdated). The model has been reintroduced again for 2017 in 150 and 300 form in various parts of the world. Do you think... possibly.... there is a market to include an SH section within PCX.org?

Just throwing it out there... as I selfishly work out a deal for a new SH from the dealer.

Seriously though, HONDAPCX.org is the leading Honda scoot forum as far as I can see. Maybe reaching out to SH owners would be a good thing? (Hoping for a tiny bit of support from the crowd here).

Anyways, rather than wonder, thought it best to ask.

Ride safe!

Seems like a good idea - esp. now that the Forza has been discontinued.....reducing this to a single "live" model scooter forum.

The Forza 300 may be getting discontinued in some markets but the Forza 125 remains ;)

No reason why a separate specific area is needed for the SH, (or the Forzas come to that) any discussion of them would be right at home in the "Other Bikes" section.

My local dealer has told me that the SH will NOT be returning to the USA.
Ride on and leave only tire tracks.

I'm another SH300 owner. I suggested the same a while ago.

There's an SH300 group on FB which translates ok. 99% of the member are Italian.

It's a great scoot by the way. I'm enjoying it much more than I did my Forza 300.

Still on sale in the UK - £3,000 for SH125 and £4,800 for SH300
http://www.chiswickbike.com/honda/honda ... ooters.htm
There's also an SH Mode 125 - seems strange the market is big enough for 4 125 Honda scooters (and a fifth 110cc Vision) - SH125, SH mode 125, PCX 125 and Forza 125.

The closest thing we have available right now in the U.S. that's even close to the SH is the Piaggio Liberty 150 or the KYMCO People GT 300i. :geek:

THe 110 Vision fills the cheapest and most efficient, bog-standard Honda scoot box. I can only guess that the 125s each fit better in different markets, and Honda look to see where each fits best. WRT to the 300s, the bloated Forza matches the bloated US roads and distances, while the Italian SH300i fits the Euro market better. SH300 sales seem to be picking up over here.

I continue to be disappointed (and perplexed) that the UK doesn't take advantage of scooters to the same extent that most of mainland Europe does. We'd rather sit in traffic moaning about the congestion we've created and blaming everyone else for it.

Thanks for the feedback guys and gals.

I'm eyeing up the 150 as the 300 didn't come to Oz (yet?)

I must say I was interested in the Vespa GTS300 or XMAX300 but figure that the GTS300 is double the price for an extra 7hp (looks great though) and the XMAX seems to be a myth as nobody has seen one here and the Yamaha Australia don't even have it on their website despite all the press/rags talking about it coming here.

PCX is still an option though :) I do loooove the styling and handling.

The joys of picking the next bike ;)

Thanks gn2. Yeah, I quite like the look of the XTown. I might check one out locally if I can find it on a dealer floor.

Cheers!

Seeing as I am on my 4th Honda sh 125,all been different, all been good and now been riding a Honda vision 110i,for 27 months/ 10500 miles.Whats the best..??????????
A Honda pcx 125 in size is way to small for me,am 6"3" tall. The Honda vision 110,cannot prase this small scoot enough ,it does what it does and no more.Brilliant Would get another one, because its cheaper to buy/too run/easy to work on/sh is a pain. And its air/cooled.

The PCX is too small for you yet the smaller Vision was ok? I ride the PCX and find it just fine (6ft tall) yet riding the vision 110 on my CBT, well, it felt small and really odd in comparison. Doubt the Vision would be cheaper to run for me - I service the bike myself and get 130-140+ mpg out of the PCX.
