Summer storm ride....

Post by fish »

Had a nice sunrise ride and rolled in the garage just before a 3 hour summer storm rolled through.

Saw two boating groups preparing to launch large boats down at the ramp. Hope those guys have a cell phone to watch the weather radar. Storm is half the size of Ohio, coming this way.

Coffee at a quiet bench at the reservoir. (I do NOT use a cup holder. The coffee is carried in a McDonald's drinks tray in the top case....or under the seat on my Burgman. Hands & attention have enough to do while riding a scooter without messing with a cup holder. If I want a drink, I pull over and get off the scooter.IMO)

We have cup holders on our bikes, but those are for water bottles, which we DO drink from if we feel really thirsty, and there either is no traffic on the road or else we were at a light. We have straws in the bottles so that we don't have to take our eyes off of the road. It gets so hot down south in the summer that we have to hydrate a LOT.
