Pocket Plate and Helmet Holder

Post by sgalper »

I just bought a used 2014 Forza 300. There was a "pocket plate" floating in the left pocket, not attached to anything. I'd like to know what it's for, and how to install it.

Also I don't see where I'm supposed to attach the end of the Helmet Holder under the seat.

There is a little plastic knob sticking up on the left side under the seat at the back. I loop the helmet holder through the steel buckle ends of the chin strap and then through itself to form a hangman's knot. The free end loops around the knob and then you carefully close the seat.

Not a great description but??? Can someone post a picture?

Just a guess here but could a "pocket plate" be something one puts under the side kick stand to prevent it from melting into the blacktop?
Again, just a guess.

Or it is the piece of plastic that slides into a track inside the left hand pocket. To put your wallet cell phone etc?

It's the part that apparently goes inside the left pocket. Not sure how it's supposed to be snapped in there.

It could even be the document holder that is supposed to be under the seat at the back of the storage area.

I took mine out to give a little more room for my coats to be put under the seat.

Pics should help.
Pocket Plate goes on left side under the 12v plug in this orientation. Pins on tray slide down into 2 slots, one front, one back. Feel the slots with a finger.

Thanks for the helmet holder pic. I always assumed that knob was it but it seems really silly to hang a thousand dollar helmet on that silly plastic knob.

I use my 55 litre top case for the helmet most of the time except when it is full of clothing.
