I've just come across this on the Malossi site;

http://www.malossistore.co.uk/alum-comp ... pc1252-M-P

It wasn't listed the other week so presume its a new product?

Anyway it comes with a fuel injection controller as well by the looks of it, the one i've linked is for the v2 (and presumably v3).

Could be an alternative to Yuminshi/Takagawa?

I'm tempted to order it TBH

Looks like they have one for forza 125. I have had wee test ride on forza 125 and it seemed gutless compared to my 164 yuminashi pcx but loved everything else about it.

Looks like a variant of the Charmo. Same piston.

How is that for quality/power increase compared to yuminashi?

Yuminashi is always more power, because they make it very high compression. Charmo is always on the gentler side of things.
Regarding reliability, I have never seen either of them breaking before my eyes so reliability should be the same provided you know what you're doing.

Thanks for the reply and also your comments on my 150cc topic - i didn't realise the 31mm throttle body was only for 164 kits so that saved me making a mistake by going down that route.

I have been considering all the options over the last week and think i will go the full 164 kit with 150 head.

As suggested on other threads if i only got some of the items i would likely want to upgrade again so it will save a lot of work if i do everything in one go.

Between buying all the 164 yuminashi parts and the malossi there isn't much difference in cost anyway.

Then make sure to ask them to give you a list of links and buy as they recommend. You wouldn't want to buy to wrong thing and end up waiting longer than expected.

I'll be putting in the 150 esp head and piston soon and will be able to see if there is any wear and tear on 164 kit after 4000 miles.
Might keep the piston rings and swap them on to domed piston to save time on braking in.

Make sure you pay with PayPal. I do recommend yuminashi's 164 kit but recent experience with their customer service leaves some space for improvement. Shame really as I enjoy the kit.
