Yuminashi Final Questions Before Buying

Post by u33db »

Hi,

I'm almost 100% set on a Yuminashi big bore kit for my 125 LED and, once a few of my ebay auctions are done, i'll have the funds to do so.

There seem to be 3 options though;

- 164cc SPL Power Pack - http://www.yuminashi.eu/164cc-spl-power ... cx125-led/
- 164cc STD Power Pack - http://www.yuminashi.eu/164cc-std-power ... cx125-led/
- 175cc big bore and parts to suit.

I'll likely go for the SPL kit, as i know i'll end up getting a variator at some point anyway so it work out cheaper doing it now, plus i get the cam.

However, would the 175 kit be noticable faster/torquier/powerful to warrant going that route?

I'm pretty it also needs a head to suit...will it be much better than the 164 or less reliable?

Thoughts/comment appreciated.

Thanks :)

I bought SPL Power pack 164cc. 175cc isn't available in pack and needs 150 head so I think I will stick with 164cc for now. I also bought gear set so I can go faster ;)

Just got all he parts. I am very happy as I did pay less import f tax than I though. All the part are well packaged and look like quality piece. I want to start working on it but I don't know specific torque values. Can anybody tell me torque settings? I wish I could get service manual but it's way too expensive.
