Not the finest bit of engineering. Those welds are truly awful!! But I have to say it is looking really good as it is coming together

Atleast it matched the original welds lol. I was curious about the original welds as they were not as pretty as the ones on my vfr800. After all, it holds and it will be hidden under the scooter so I wont be able to see it.

*Update*

As I was the creator of this posting, I told you guys I was in the development of creating a one off stretch kit for the PCX. Well this month I finally got around to it. The mounts are using plate steel cnc lasered out, and then followed up with mig welding. I will post the final product installed and photos of the whole kit. If I get enough inquires about purchasing a mount I will offer them to the public. These mounts are bullet proof, there was no corners cut.

Left mount is the actual engine mount, this is not 100% done as we need to factor in the engine offset for front and rear mounting locations. The mount on the right is the actual shock mount setup. It will bolt directly into the stock location and then extends the shocks into the correct distant for the stretch. The mount kit will include all mounting hardware, adjustment rods for both top and bottom mount. The shock mounting plate will be adjustable for up and doen axis. Thus being able to lift or drop the rear end.

Stay tuned more to come.

Relic & Urban,

updated with adjustable helm joints and fully welded up.

I will be including a rear brake cable. I think the stock throttle cable will work. With Mike's stretch on the zuma, the stock throttle cable worked with some trickery on routing the cable. the stock zuma 125 cable is funny. It's a push pull style cable, and i figured if i had that made when i made my zuma it would have been very costly.

Anyhow more updates soon..... Also the mounting points for the engine mount will be using rubber bushings to provide less vibration like a solid mount gives you...

I want some of this action but just how much is involved from stock to finish. I don't think one could be styling without custom rims, exhaust and new shocks. The entire fender has to go, no problem but then you need license plate mount rework.

I want to see a couple members pull this off for less than 1500.00 ... then I'm going LONG! <--- baiting youyou

Here are some of the latest spy photos from "The Chopping Block"

I will be reworking the rear mount as it was over kill and can be simplified. But the stretch mount is not going to be modified at all it's pretty much final. Also need to re do the helm joints to be the correct length. Also note the bike is slammed right now, and will be raised about 2-3". it will still have that tucked look.

That looks insane! I sent you a request. I have YSS shocks in my cart at the moment with bikerzbits but yeah, for a new seat and shocks I am looking at $400 to my door. So damn pricey for $130 shocks and a $100 seat.
