BikeVis Bullets

Post by Alibally »

I just got a set of white bullet lights. I was going to fit them below the headlamps and to the side on the black plastic liner. I don't really want a black plastic light mounted on a white bike. I did think about painting them and putting them on the sides at the bottom of the screen as I have pearl white paint. It's a white spray with a pearl lacquer.
Opinions please.
When I decide I will try and do a how-to.

They look good. Where did you get them from?

They do red and blue as well. Also interestingly fog light kit, indicator reminder, ice alerts and other goodies.

Why not mount them on the lower part of the forks? I've seen that on several BMWs, it looks sharp.

Do you mean where the wheel bolts onto the forks? The other place I thought was on the front mudguard. It's the wiring that's the problem doing that as routing it so it won't chafe through or catch on anything.

A bit above that. He has his zip-tied in place with black zip-ties, below the mudflaps, above the axle. The wire he ran along the speedometer cable, which you wouldn't be able to do since the PCX's speedo isn't tied to the front wheel. Routing the wire will be a bit difficult no matter what if you mount to the front forks or mudflap. ;)

Still haven't fitted the lights yet. It's the first nice day I have had a chance to get the bike out. Blew the cobwebs out but it's still cold.
