Here's a FF lid I never saw before. It has 26 led lights all around it http://m.newegg.com/Product/index?itemn ... 2GG2055200

I think my next helmet will probably be this one:
Image
The Bell Revolver Evo

Saw it the other day at a local bike shop, tried it on, and it felt really good. Snug, comfy, didn't seem too heavy, and I really liked the flip-down visor inside, except I think it should have been a tad darker. I'd get the clear main visor, but I'd want the inside flip-down one to be darker than it is. Maybe add a bit of window-tint film to it to darken it up a bit.

The helmet didn't interfere with my spectacles like most helmets do, and the flip-up face means that I can adjust them if I need to. I've found that not too many helmets work well with glasses. I really like the high-vis yellow too. It's bright. Add a bit of reflective striping, perhaps in a contrasting color, and voila! It was going for $190 plus tax, and that seemed like a decent price in a store. One could probably find it for a bit less online, if one looked around a bit.

From the new Thunderbird's series return. :P I remember when Bell move to Rantoul, IL in the 80s. They really innovated a lot of today's features.

Nope.

That's the helmet from Airwolf.

Is anyone else besides me even old enough to remember that?

I could go for something like that myself, but as I said in the other thread, only if my scoot was black... :D

I have my heart set on Donald Trump's Sikorsky S-76C for a cool $15M. 10' wide cabin and 178 mph. The best of everything including a bar.

But Trump's S-76c can't do Mach 2.3, isn't bulletproof, doesn't have radar-absorbent skin, doesn't have 2x 30 mm cannon and 4x .50 chain guns, M712 Copperhead shells, FIM-43 Redeye missiles, and doesn't have Caitlin...

The CL-16s look nice but I can't find it in 3XL. 2XL should fit my 25" diameter head but 3XL would give my head more breathing room. So I'm kinda eyeing the HJC CL-17 Redline Helmet in Grey and Hi-Vis Green. I love the look and colour combo.

A flip down sun visor would be nice but I could just wear sunglasses underneath.

Likey! Good color choice!
Fitment: You want your hat to fit on the tighter side. It will break in some, loosen up & then fit you right. Is there a store nearby that you can try both hats and sizes on? Best route to go.

Ah I suppose. If I went 2XL, I'd be tempted to go with the CL-16s for the better price and retailers are including the anti-fog pinlock insert, but none of the CL-16s come in hi-vis colours.

I could still order online. canadasmotorcycle.ca offers easy no cost returns. Or go to a local dealer and pay the ~$30 premium since I don't like to be the guy who showrooms and then I'll know for next time which size fits me.

I wear an old HJC modular helmet size XL, it fits super snug and gives me a headache after 75 to 90 minutes of riding. So yea just one size bigger should be good.

I am still a open face helmet type like those at the start of this thread, I have dabbled with a Duchinni front flip with the internal sunvisor but found it uncomfortable as too much padding was removed to make room for the sunvisor, and the companies who fit those visors forget some people wear glasses

That's one of the reasons I liked the Bell Revolver Evo. It fit well with my spectacles, and didn't smash them up against the sides of my head like others do.

Although, I did try on a friend's Scorpion EXO-900 the other day, and it didn't mash my glasses either.
