Val was all about good gear and he's probably still floating in the Pacific somewhere in it.

In 2002 I was hit at 40 mph from the rear stopped at a stoplight waiting for light to change. The guy behind me in a pick up truck that hit me never even saw me. It snapped my hip, which is now artificial. So I was putting in a semi cast, and told to stay off it for 6 to 8 weeks. At about five weeks I went back to riding. And I had to put my foot down when I didn't want to, and it slightly dislocated the hip. If I ever get injured on the bike again, I will never ride until I'm 100% ......for a few months.

Was the op male or female, young or old?

I have had numerous injuries. Some of them my fault, some not. I still ride but older bones heal slower and hurt more.

Super heavy rain & snow today so the motorcycles are sleeping.
Valiant's doing well as far as I know and he's still zipping along on two wheels - but he's not on here much anymore cuz he traded his PCX for a snazzy red 2015 CB300F. Here's a link to his yt channel so you can follow his exploits in Hawaii - some stunning scenery in his vids - I haven't been to Hawaii in 7 years and I really really really want to visit again one day.

After 36 years of riding seemed i was first in the list of the black gent in the year 2013 but i slipped away and we have an appoitment later sometime for sure..

Speaking seriously now i believe that proper gear save lives, so see a video of my gear i wore during my accident which left me with a present of two titanium plates and 15 bolts for life in my left leg.

And please fellow riders remember that proper gear save lives.

P.S.I rode again after 2 years and i'm still on two wheels.

Good vid O2W and the song choice was most appropriate! I haven't heard 10cc in a long time - they had 2 of my favorite tunes from the 70's :D. I only have 6 screws in my leg so you've got me beat :D

I wish you never again my friend and always wear the proper gear.
I also like as you saw 10cc and this song it's like it was made among other reasons for this too... ;)

Hadn't thought about this situation, I'll keep it in mind.
