Will the Shoei Neotec fit under the PCX seat?

I'm a large. Was wondering if anyone has tried to fit this helmet under their PCX seat. Thanks!

1/2 and 3/4 is ok, never try with a full face helmet

my Xl Bell fullface helmet just fits under the seat, fairly tight though. i usually keep the helmet bag under there as well and put the helmet in that to protect it.

Thanks chainsaw. Mine should fit then. Haven't had a chance to actually get to a dealer & test it. But your bag idea is a good one.

Well, I thought that my S&S2000 fit, but I found that the seat was bending a bit to accommodate it. I could see a bit of yellow/green peeking out one day, and then noticed that the seat no longer seals onto the compartment.

If the fit is tight, take a good close look at the seat when closed to see if it is remaining sealed. I'm hoping that my seat has not taken a permanent set.

Good point George. Don't want to force it or have it put stress the seat hinge. Guess I can deal with that.

I wouldn't try to squeeze it in. The helmet is worth too much to damage... Don't want to keep it compressed in the comparment and maybe crack it.

My husband has a large Shoei full face helmet. It fits, but the seat was bending a bit. I would recommend not putting it in there, as you don't want damage to the seat or helmet over time. A topbox will accommodate a large helmet.

I just bought a PCX 150 and a Shoei Neotec in large yesterday. I probably should have tried fitting the helmet in the store but was on sensory overload and more shocked at the helmet price than anything. Once I got home I tried it. You can actually get the seat to latch but it bends up just a little in the middle. Based on what they are saying above I guess I better not use the under seat storage for it.

Nice lid Duggle! Are ya sure it doesn't fit? Did you rotate/flip it different ways? That's a shame if it doesn't, but....Don't force it or the saddle over it, whatever you do. Heck you just bought one of the finest scoots and helmets, give em a go in one piece and Please share your views on both. Cheers!

Just to note...

I have a Shoei GT-Air Large and it fits relatively fine in my '15 PCX150. If you notice on the underside of the seat there is a small oval shaped protusion of soft (foam stuff) which compresses slightly against the helmet however I think that is what it's designed to do.

Anyone else ?

The LS2 fits snug under the seat, no ones ever sits on it parked so no issue and when not parked... its on my head

The Neotec will fit in the Forza. Don't know how much difference in volume/shape of PCX's under seat storage to Forza though.

Perhaps the PCX storage is designed for the overseas market where height and overall size (head included) is smaller than european sizes.
