BikerzBits PCX seat #7

Post by springer1 »

Went to order one of these from BikerzBits for about $72 US. I didn't go thru thru with it because the cheapest delivery charge was $82 US from Thailand (I'm in Pa USA). Does this sound right? Or ... has anyone seen these at another source? Thanks

Shipping sounds reasonable. Seat is a big item to ship internationally.

Probably cheaper to get your seat re-covered locally.

I'll be doing this soon to get rid of the bloomin' hump (it's right where I need to sit).

I have number 7 seat also, price is normal yeah shipping aint cheap. The #7 if memory serves is lower than the stocker by approx 1 1/2" and you lose a small amount of the luggage space since the seat pan is different than stock too, though it fits perfectly well. Regarding the 'hump', dont expect much..Any PCX seat will follow the side panel contour and the frame rails so the 'hump' doesnt make a world of diifference with that in mind. I ended up changing the handlebar setup to be 2" further fwd and 1 1/2' lower than stock for more rider "cockpit space"

That's the problem I have got with my Peugeot tweet a very good a/c 125 scoot,it does what it does but the seat that bleeding hump needs to be flat,so went down the pound shop [this is uk] bought a big sheet of rubber with small holes in it,folded it in to half,so it goes under the seat, then my fat arse holds it down.
What a difference

To keep pricing in perspective, here is the site that many of us use in Thailand for our seats.

https://www.powerbypcx.com/en/70-comfort-pcx-v4

It use to have to translate it using Google Chrome. Select your item, put it in the cart and go thru the checkout process to see what the shipping will be. Just know that it will probably be about the same. Remember that it will be shipped internationally through various shipping organizations. In the end it still comes out cheaper than most local companies.
