Possibly to add DC 12V "cigarette lighter" socket

Post by grndslm »

So my 2013 model doesn't have a cigarette lighter, so I can't just pop my phone charger in there for emergencies. This post got me wondering if there's any easier way of rigging my scooter up with phone charging capabilities...

I'm assuming this is one of my only options for adding a 12V socket to my 2013 model? It will probly be best to have it rigged under the seat for waterproofing, space, etc., correct?

Thanks in advance!!

I had both on my bike but decided to just go with the battery tender accessory because my GPS died and charging my phone was my only other use for the accessory outlet. Yes, it can be done on a 2013 model without a lot of effort, and you can get a waterproof one as well. Just decide where you want it and how much effort you want to put into it.
