grambo... welcome to PCX forums! Glad you got registered, now hang on to your wallet there are lots of mods and accessories you will see in here for your Honda. You ask if I had any "items" recently and I do have several upgrades and mods on my 2015 model currently. I'm sure you will too if you watch this forum now and then.... very motivational :)

Grambo,
I fabricated the fender eliminator from scrap aluminum, several pieces, cut, filed, painted then riveted together. The license plate frame has built in LED light at the top, you can just make out the LED's in the pics, so you can kiss the stocker goodbye and lift the plate still higher. I have since aquired LED turn signals, the ones in the pic are OEM. I also painted the rear light red translucent but you'd never know it..pics coming soon.
Regarding the Yoshimura exhaust, here's the link..

Well I finally got around to istalling the ADIO 110mm stretch kit, which I'm glad to say is a very well constructed kit, made in Japan, and built like a tank. The rear brake cable was able to reach, as was the fuel hose, throttle cable, and various wiring, some re-routing was necessary but easy enough once the bodywork is off. The home brewed fender eliminator/undertail had to be extended out 2 1/2" and re-angled slightly to look right. I think a 110mm stretch is probably the maximum because of the wiring from the ECU, unless you went about lengthening it. Personally I feel that longer kits may look good but the advantages may likely start to be overcome by negatives. One huge advantage is the much smoother ride, bumps that were annoying before are tackled much better now, even the fork has benefited although I feel I had perhaps 1/2 turn too much that I had on the PDD valves the change in geometry (rider position in relation to wheelbase) has now corrected. I dont percieve any loss of nimbleness and the bike if anything tracks and handles better than before. On the negative side you will have to trim the stowage box down to allow suspension travel, you lose about 1 1/2" right were the toolkit stows, next job is to create a bottom for the piece I cut out and removed. Right now some steel mesh is temporarily covering the hole. Anyways, another mod completed and pictured for your perusal. I really do like the look, the quality of the parts and the thought that went into the design, the ride height, shock angle is maintained, both stands work and the better ride and handling especially at higher speeds..Recommended.

That's pretty fancy Frank. Was the cutaway in the seat bucket to clear the throttle body?

Yeah primarily. The stowage bin wouldnt seat on its mounts until I had removed some of the bottom near the tool kit holder, removed about 1, 1/2" from the bottom of the bin in that area to clear and allow for suspension movement. Been to Miami and back twice since and no contact is being made. Just have to fab a patch now, I might tackle it tomorrow.

This is more right than Honda's own design for PCX. I need to see this done on a later model... who will get it done for us on a LED PCX?

Whoa I'm humbled, thanks a million!
There are other versions for the LED PCX, maybe a bit longer, one comes with a cable and an ECU extension. Expensive though.

Next up is some BMW style wave guide halos, as an upgrade over the COB LED ones which have a tendency to devolop dead spots over time, and the front turns will be replaced with LED's same as the rear as well. I may need to fab up some sort of adapter for these so the rubber boots look right and fit properly.
Glen, if you're reading this, how about next Thur or Fri at the Dunkin? I have your brake linkage still, and in fact it's been upgraded.

k2apache6.0 wrote:Dash view includes clock, bikerz bar clamps, and bikerz master cylinder cover. These as supplied were a little too 'pyrimidal' for my taste so they were filed, draw filed, and wet and dryed before a final polish for the desired look. Also shown is the non chromed stem cover off a Forza, yes it fits, just. I prefered the look over the stock chromed cover
K2, really liked the black stem cover with Honda emblem. So much so I just picked mine up from the dealer today. Cheers!

I like the stretch kit. I've been wanting to stretch mine for a very long time now but I've been busy with engine tuning...

That might or might not happen toward the end of the year, nonetheless I enjoy reading about it, do you have, or will you be doing a thread on yours, I've been following Chicaboos experimentations with interest.

Hey Frank, now that I have the big tube mod done on the airbox, the 31mm TB is (was? :P ) working well.
The B type 31mm manifold would let you use your old injector. Not sure about open-loop fuelling though...

Yea, I have one somewhere with over 15 000 000 views and replies, haven't been there for a while though.
