Tucan Urbano deflating

Post by Mon-Eye »

I've had my tucano urbano apron now nearly a year and I'm getting fed up with it deflating and getting punctures so decided to look for an alternative option to using an inflatable bladder (dont know what the terminology fir the air bag is). The best solution i can think off is using a length off pipe lagging. Has anyone else used an alternative option to their air bladders ?

I have not had any issues with my Tucano Urbano deflating but I think if I did I might try to put a pool noodle in there.

You'd just have to find a good place to open a seam enough to get the noodle in and them sew it up afterward. This would make it impossible to roll it up during warmer weather though.

I solved it yesterday. I bought some pipe lagging that was 65mm in diameter. Its fitted in perfectly and manged to get it in the original hole for the bladders too
