PCX 150 Accesories using PCX 125

Post by kyle6357 »

Has any one in the US used any Givi PCX 125 accessories on their PCX 150? I know some overseas have done w/o any problems but I didnt know if the US model is the same as the Europe PCX 150. Thank for any help!

The US and UK models are the same accessory-wise. The Givi windshields, topcases, topcase mounts, and tunnel bags are all compatible with both the PCX 125 and 150. :D

Do you feel they are easy enough to install? Just nervous about drilling into my PCX 150!

If you mean drilling to install a rack/topbox mount, its easy. The 4 holes are marked on the molding underneath the rear fairing. Its soft plastic so is quick to drill. I used an undersized drill bit for large pilot holes then my dremel tool to bore out the holes to the correct size and location. Its a 10 min job.

Good idea using the dremel! Less risk of cracking Id imagine! What tip did you use?

Its only soft plastic to dremel. I used the tapered file. Mine is pretty worn out but fine for plastic. Dont run the speed too high as otherwise the plastic goes black from the heat (OK if your PCX is black though!)
