Accessories in Thailand - luggage rack

Honda only markets one luggage rack in Thailand. It is a plastic plate designed for locally made top boxes. It will fit on the 2015 PCX, but was made for the older models - it comes with the angled rubber washers to cover the holes that you had to drill in the grab rail.

There are lots of aftermarket ones available here, starting at $15 - but I wanted one a bit more substantial.

This is a rack marketed by Honda in the USA - P/N 08L71-K35-J100. It is made by Honda in Thailand, but not available here. One came over from the USA in my suitcase - about $47 USD

Hi Bob, where in the U.S. did you purchase your "2015" (metal?) rack? Do you have a link to share?
Thanks

P/N 08L71-K35-J100

This is a Honda part number. You can find this part at some online suppliers, but I just called the local Honda dealer and ordered it from them.

Honda Powersports calls it a Rear Trunk Mount

Thanks for that Bob! :)
I still don't know If the rack/mount is metal OR plastic. Can you help with that?
Also I noticed that the P/N @ powersports ends with J00 Not J100. Bit Confusing

P/N 08L71-K35-J00 is correct. I blame my secretary :-)

The rack is cast metal, non-magnetic, probably aluminum.

I called Honda Powersports - 866 784 1870 - before ordering because no picture is shown on their website. They sent me the installation instructions so I could see what it looked like.
