This is going to sound crude, especially to those of you who have to ask your wife's permission to buy something with money you earned: Real men burn gas, haul ass, and f#uck whomever they please. A real woman will keep her man by keeping his stomach full, his balls empty, and not bitching. And any man who has such a woman will respect her, because they're hard to find.

Do real men support the real children they create, or the women who are forced to raise those children?
On my scoot, getting there is WAY more than half the fun!

That's an interesting question.

Men take responsibility for their actions. If a man has unprotected sex with a woman he knows is not on birth control, then yes, he's just as responsible for creating the child as the woman is, and just as responsible for the upbringing if he decides to not adopt the child to another family. If the mother would like to keep and raise the child on her own, that's her option, and by that she should have no welfare, government assistance, or any other third party support that's not voluntarily given--such as from neighbors or the church. The same if the man decides to raise the child and the woman would rather adopt out.

Wow, now I get it, if you have your jacket nicked, you are responsible for the decline in moral standards of mankind.
Mind blowing!!

Hmmm...I think this thread is getting HEAVY. Before I move on though, I would like to say that finding a good partner is difficult, and it requires a lot of compromise. Women have as many rights as men do, so they have a right to advance in life too.

That being said, that also means that she has to take responsibility for her actions, or lack of action in some cases. In fact, everyone should take responsibility for their actions.

This also means that if a child is brought into this world, the individuals responsible should also be responsible for raising and supporting that child. Not society. Not the welfare system. They may help temporarily, but society is NOT responsible for the child.

Enough said.

Haha...Hah! The 19th century?

I'll take a Coke thank you :D and you can spin Journey all.day.long! One of the very Best Groups Ever, thanks to Steve Perry's unique and powerful yet soothing voice. I miss his performances.
His replacement Arnel Campaner Pineda is an 8 to mine ears.
I regret never seeing Steve Perry (in the "Real" Journey) in concert.

Such a woman would be impossible to find, as not one would want to live with a neanderthal like that....

I agree that the parent that is around the child the most influences the child the most. If the parent allows the child to do as they please, and does not correct the child's bad behavior, then the parent is as responsible as the child for the bad behavior.
Unfortunately, in my case as well as for many others, divorce left me as the male parent with zero chance to influence the children other than act as a baby sitter when the ex decided to go on vacations.

No, you've gone much further back than that.
