Trying to find out how popular the Crampbuster is on PCX scooters.

I don't have one on my PCX, but do on my Silverwing. This gizmo is ESSENTIAL for long rides. I've had one for probably 6 or 7 or 8 years now or so (on my Reflex first, then the S-Wing). If I lost mine, I'd DEFINITELY replace it, and would miss having it until the replacement showed up. I simply cannot overstate how much I like it. Takes the stress off of the wrist/hand on long rides. If you are on the fence about getting one, just do it. It's IS cheap enough, after all.

I cut the RIGHT HALF off so my palm can easily roll the throttle without it being too intrusive on the grip.

I have them on my larger bikes, and have put one on my PCX.

It is not very useful when running around town, so I roll it around out of the way. I found that there is a tendency to rest your hand on it when starting, idling, and low speed riding - all of which are not good on a twist-and-go. It can get you into trouble.

It is easy enough to roll it back into position for longer trips, and does ease hand strain

I tried mine thats normally on my bike. For longer journeys, it is useful. I keep mine in the glovebox for when I need it.

I have had one on my pcx since we purchased our first bike. My wife has one on hers as well. They really do come in handy.

I imagine I’ll get howls here because of the cost, but this is absolutely is the top-quality and safest way to use a throttle stabilizer. Your palm never accidentally grabs it, like I’ve had happen one time with a paddle, , and any movement to shut down the throttle loosens it. I have one on my CTX, but would mount one on my PCX if I was going to need to go long distance.

Thanks @Jge64. Looked for that setup for the Fury...$200 and the look (partial cone) won't match the other side (which is stock, a short cylinder) according to the picture. For $200 I think it should be all metal and match perfectly.

Yup, your only alternative would be to swap out the one on the left for something matching to start with. Mine matches perfectly the left side bar end.

I wanted a similar setup for a TDM900 that I have here - so I had a machine shop modify the existing bar end. Cost was about $15.

I love the concept, but that is a lot of money for a device, so I would think that the bike price should be considerably higher before I would put one of those Kaoko Throttle Stabilizers on, though I would love to try one.

Can't see myself doing long enough journeys on my PCX but can definitely recommend the device. I had one on my Burgman for longer journeys/motorway riding. On and old CB500 I used a 50pence o ring in-between the throttle and handlebar that worked great as cruise control to give your wrist a break.

I often go on long trips (should surpass 15k miles this summer) and would love to try this. I see a lot of options on Amazon... is there an optimal size suggested?

Really handy on my PCX when out of town. Great value too.
