Tucano Urbano and PCX 2014 ?

Post by Ton1984 »

Hi All,
Any one try to fit Tucano Urbano to new model of PCX 2014. Just borrow one from my friend for trying and I can't fit it. Try to find any screws but still nothing. Body of new PCX it's I think to big. :( Maybe any ideas from you guys ?

Urban Tucan (meaning colorful/fun scooter driver; Milan, Italy) is a re-seller of quality goods. They carry some bags, but I'm guessing you are referring to a hard case, most likely one they no longer carry. Can you be more specific about the product? An item name, size, model number, general description, and picture would help us understand what you're referring to. Look for names on the outside and tags on the inside.

You didn't put your location in your profile, if you'd do that we'd have a better idea of your situation.

I think WI_hedgehog is a little high tonight

Your probably talking about the Termoscud leg cover? I don’t think they are interchangeable between the old and new model PCXs.

I hadn't seen that, it is pretty cool.

(Tucano Urbano is a world-wide distributor that started due to the Milan scooter invasion, they should let you out more... LOL
All in good fun.)

Probably anyone who cares has already figured this out,
but the trick to getting the Thermscud to fit is to add another strap at the top
because the "screw inside the tiny glove box thing" no longer works.

Adding another strap is easy enough. You could rivet it together (put felt over the metal afterwards so it won't scratch the panels), sew it together, or possibly Velcro the pieces together with the industrial strength version.
Currently own:
Red 2013 Honda PCX150

Givi tall windshield & tailbox - Lots of extra lights
Custom seat from Thailand - Bad Boy Airhorn
Takegawa Lowering Shocks - Michelin City Grip Tires
Headlight assy upgraded to LEDs w/HS5 main bulbs
NCY variator, drive face, and rollers

They're best known for their blankets, which is what the OP is talking about. Over here mention TU and that's what most people think of. The handlebar muffs are good.

They also do some pretty good, fashionable scooter clothing.

Yes riveting it would work too, as long as you protect the plastic.
Please note that the Thermoscud itself does damage the plastic, as I mentioned in a later post in my thread.

But fortunately, such damage is much less noticeable on dark scooters. Go Blue!
