Received this seat today from Thailand, took 8 days. Model Flat004 from mpmotorseat

Seat is noticeably flatter, although there is a slightly hard to sit on part which I assume is the hump (visible on the inside of the seat moulding) where they have skimmed over with minimal foam to try and keep a nice line.

Either way I can sit back where I'd prefer and being 6'2" or 187cm it is ideal and the best option I could find. Also I believe the new seat has a higher seating position therefore giving a bit more leg room if seated in the original position. Sliding back an inch or so from where I remember sitting on the old seat feels perfect. I wasn't interested in a backrest seat as it takes away from total seating space when doubling and from what I read the backrest goes soft and craps out after a while as its just foam

Cheers

Bam! Looks and sounds like you got what you wanted. That's good news!
I took the liberty of resizing your photo's, hope you don't mind. The thread reads easier this way.
Heh! I'm looking over at your avatar and seeing an earlier model, did you keep that one too? Perhaps another family member rides that one now? Do tell :D

by you you
Looks good and I hope it works out. I know a fantastic place in the UK if you decide to do something different with your original seat

MP Motor Seats does a good job. I know that they use the same seat manufacturer in Thailand that every other site there uses, but with them you can ask for special mods and they work to see if it can be done. I love the seat I bought from them.

Great job! Nice to see we can still get something custom done right if talking to the right people.

Did the same thing : I ordered a Flat004 model from mpmoterseat.

I ordered the seat on November 26th; on December 2nd they sent my a picture of the finished product and shipped it. I received it here in Canada on December 21st. Extremely satisfied with the service and the product.

I am sorry to drag this post up from the past, but I recently got a Forza 300 here in Texas and I am used to the leg room on my Helix. Do you have any reccomendations on which seat gives some additional room? I also have a NSS250 that I would not mind sitting a bit farther back on. Thanks for any input, I did a google search of this site to come up with this thread, so I appologize if there is something newer or a thread with better information.
