Seats from Thailand

I stumbled upon this place selling PCX seats at prices that seem to good to be true. They show an email address of mp.motor@yahoo.com and an address in Bangkok. Anyone from Thailand ever hear of these guys? I emailed them out of curiosity and they responded with some availability of stock and several shipping options. They uses PayPal.

I am guessing that if legit these are maybe tier 2 seats and maybe being created in someone's garage?

That one is what I have on my bike. I like it a lot. However, if I could have had a custom one made I would have had them put a back support on it. My wife's bike has one that has the back support but it makes you site a little too close for my comfort. Sitting back, like this one allows me to do, is great. I added some foam in a sleeve behind me and forced it against the back of the tailbox. It gives me a nice support but makes getting to stuff under the seat difficult. Still, the ride is nice. :-)

I emailed Powerpcx and got their list of what's in stock and what isn't. The site above has what appears to be some of the same seats (or maybe clones???) at a considerably lower price. That is why I said too good to be true. The seat you like was in stock they told me at powerpcx.

I haven't heard of them but they look like Noi Watdan seats from Bangkok and the price is about right. Shipping will cost quite a bit though.

Thanks for responding! Here is the email from them below. He quoted me two shipping costs. I take it the $55 is a slow boat from Thailand and the second maybe air? I have no problem risking $100 to see what I get (by maybe Christmas?). lol

This is what I have been suspecting. I also think that the seats from Powerbypcx are made by Noi Watdan. This also answers the question about ordering them directly from Noi Watdan which seems to be difficult to do.

With it being a Noi Watdan seat, you can pretty much guarantee that it will good quality.

The shipping is also a reasonable price as well. I sent a seat from Thailand to the US and it was around $100 to ship it.

Now that i have seen those additional custom seats, they are beautiful. I sure wish there was a way to get a custom, made to order seat, though. Imagine one where the back support is as far back as they could get it while still leaving a little bit of room, say maybe half to 2/3s of what they have of those custom seats. Then add all that padding they have on the custom seats. That should give most of us long legged people room to stretch our legs. As they are right now though, they are much better than the factory ones.
