I went to this several years ago, and it was a blast. Its called 'slaughterhouse' because it culminates in a roasted animal. It was a suckling pig when I went.

There is a slow race, obstacle course, beer, etc. (Drink responsibly)

It was probably 75% vintage Italian 2-stroke scooters when I was there, but I didn't hold it against them. I'll bring a mask for the fumes next time though!

I need to see if I can make the dates, but it's early enough to lay in some plans. Anyone here interested in representing with me?

I'll bet there was a few Genuine "Stellas" there also. :D

I live too far away. . .but I've got family living in Chicago. They like it there. . .they also like to tell me how it does get freakin cold in the winter but well worth it. o_O

I don't think I'm going to go. Thinking back to when I went there years ago, I didn't really feel welcome, as a rider of a modern scooter. It was a bit too hipster for me then, and will be more so now that I'm over 40. There are hundreds and hundreds of vintage two-stroke Vespas and Lambrettas.
