Yeah yeah, looks like junked sh1t  didn't I mention that I actually like rat bikes.
Not diggin the dual exhaust, would like to get an exhaust as quite as stock, but lighter and more power if possible.
Anybody know of any "stealth" exhausts?

Maybe something like this google search: https://www.google.com/search?q=Takegaw ... =firefox-a

You might have to get a head pipe crafted since the part is for a PCX125, but from the looks of your skills I think it would be within your comfort zone. I don't believe the part is cheap either.

Hey thats my bike on the link...

Here is same exhaust but made foe esp 125,no need to modify anything:

http://japan.webike.net/products/20935291.html

And esp150:

http://japan.webike.net/products/20935209.html

This exhaust is almost as quiet as stock and will improve power slightly on top end, also its lighter by maybe 1.5kg,cant remember now exactly but it is lighter..

Thanks for the link, the price seems reasonable when compared to the prices of non-copy exhausts here in Thailand. My dealer today had finally priced the Mugen exhaust available directly from Honda and it was 26K Thai Baht.

I would much rather have this one barring some crazy import fees to get it into Thailand.

dasshreddar,
I love it!

No it's not my "cup of tea". and if it were mine I'd do this....that....and the other thing different. But it's not mine, it's yours and I look foreword to seeing where you go with it.

Thanks for sharing!

Thanks, Greg.
Yeah that exhaust looks pretty good for a lighter than stock replacement.
Was thinking about a "DG universal bolt on steel silencer" welded on to the stock header 2.5 pounds and $60 sounds good enough to try it.
It might sound weird? but dont really care as long as it is not much louder than stock.

You 'may' notice a power drop at top end with most exhausts that haven't been dyno tuned for the bike :o . Takegawa is but while ago i got Wiruswin pipe that looked and sounded great but top end was clearly down and noticeable difference against Takegawa :o ...Takegawa has a dyno graph but Wiruswin didnt and i knew straightaway why  ....Problem was i was after performance over looks and sound  , i couldn't live with it so i had it offloaded on ebay.. :|

If you go with that DG option you have to upload a youtube vid so we can hear the sound out of that thing.. :)

Here are a couple of pics with my fat tires on, painted cvt cover and pod filter.
Near future mods will probably be different rear fender and battery relocation... 8)

No disrespect, your custom "Mantis" ;) is killer and its new tires suit it well 8)

That is soo dark, I like it! Now, about those front turn signals, you must have a plan? I'm stickin' around! 8)

I thought about whitening it out, just for you  , but that didn't quite go with my theme ;)
I think the front signals are staying until the front end gets changed around big time!
I would like to install a bikini style fairing... something like the new cb500f headlight/fairing would be what I'm after.
I hate the pcx headlight, but kind of stuck with it since it is a big part of the front end.
I've even mocked up the Ruckus lights without or with the pcx headlight , but that just looks crazy(like a Baja beast or something  )

Well I have been playing around with different exhausts this last week.

Decided to go with the DG universal exhaust...
Pros: $60, 2 lbs(stock muffler with out head pipe is about 8.5 lbs!), more power(butt dyno tested ;) ), easy to weld on, mutes the pod filter noise, big dirt bike sound. 8)
Cons: probably UGLY to most of you reading this, freakin LOUD! :x

I was able to quiet it down by adding custom baffles to the core, and a turndown.
I did notice a slight drop in power with the baffles, but it is still at least more powerful than the stock muffler. :D
