Well, taking a second look at the damage...might be closer to 400.
Yup. A new headlight is in the range of 200 eur plus body parts, headlight stay, plus labour... seems like quite a dent unfortunately.

When I had my accident the biked looked worse than yours did after your accident. The insurance company paid me $1.000 for repairs. I did the repairs myself and the total cost of parts was $386. Get a service manual. You will be surprised at what you can do yourself on these little bikes. Parts are cheap online. Shop around for the best prices, but don't forget to add shipping. Sometimes that can make all the difference. Others here took that opportunity to change the bike color. Take your time and you will love the results. Remember that the plastics do not come with screws and clips, so save up for missing ones as well.
Currently own:
Red 2013 Honda PCX150

Givi tall windshield & tailbox - Lots of extra lights
Custom seat from Thailand - Bad Boy Airhorn
Takegawa Lowering Shocks - Michelin City Grip Tires
Headlight assy upgraded to LEDs w/HS5 main bulbs
NCY variator, drive face, and rollers

Mel, Great that you managed that on a budget. Unfortunately Frantisek and myself are in Europe, that means that prices are a LOT more higher here. Also the LED headlight is a _lot_ more expensive than your non-led ones, as well the body panels for the new PCX model seems to run at a higher price. Don't ask me how I know...

Ordering most of the stuff from Thailand was the cheapest option for me (interestingly some parts we even cheaper on Partzilla than from Thailand tho) but customs and in case of Hungary 27% VAT went on top of the purchase price plus shipping cost.

Hope he's getting a good offer from the honda shop though.

I hope some of the plastics can be salvaged and bent a bit :D because the prices are extreme compared to the purchase price omg

Ebay might be the cheaper option. Will insurance cover your own damage?

Glad to hear your okay.

Oh no, I have only basic insurance that covers damages to the other side. Since I am legaly the one responsible for the crash... The logic elludes me. Some guy stops in the middle of the road for no reason (to let another car pass) and I am responsible for crashing :-D OK. I get it, next time I go in village 30-40km/h I will keep 70m distance from another car, it's going to kill patience of other drivers.
