Hi all. Found a french Honda accessories brochure for the Forza 125 (attached).

Also performance parts ltd Uk (http://www.performanceparts-ltd.com/roa ... s/exhausts) are doing the Akrapovic exhaust for the princely sum of £463 + £90 for the catalyser.

Would be interested if anyone takes the plunge on the Akrapovic. I'm not overly concerned from a performance point of view (though admittedly a bit more 'go' is always welcome) but a bit extra noise might stop dozy pedestrians walking into the road...

I was looking at the Akrapovic exhaust for mine-it does look good! I don't want it to sound silly if I'm honest-it's meant to be a comfortable commuter, not a sports bike.

£500 is a bit steep though!

Hmmm......it's tempting, wonder what power gains (if any) there would be.

For it to remain legal, nil.

Akrapovic website says it will unleash a mighty +0.3 hp and +0.2 lb ft torque whilst saving 3.1kg in weight...

Can't argue with the weight reduction. It can't do any harm

Good morning fellow riders,
Akrapovic Exhaust!!
Just to be pedantic the conversion from 0.3 Kw equals 0.4023066266hp and the conversion from Nm to ft lbs is as follows 0.3 Nm = 0.2212686477 ft lbs.
Somehow it doesn't make economic sense to buy one, unless the power and torque gains are worth it?
What I'd like to see but can't find anywhere, is an honest report on its performance over the standard exhaust?
Of all the performance parts to make, why has the Forza 125 being targeted to receive such an expensive performance upgrade?
Are the figures quoted to be believed? Or are they under-estimating them so as not to fall foul of any license laws?
For me at 22 and a half stone and 6'3", I don't think the performance gains would outway the cost?

An aftermarket exhaust on a 125 scooter isn't a value for money performance upgrade.
Its purely cosmetic.

Well, the Froza 125 is expensive for a 125, but it seems to be able to cruise at or near 70 as delivered. No point someone paying £2700 new for a PCX and spending money and time on upgrades when you may as well spend the extra for the Forza 125 (if you only have an A1/CBT) - you get better performance, full ABS!, more storage. Still, for that money, it may be wise to pass your A2/Full and get a 250/300 if you have lots of large A road or motorway to deal with.

https://calsport.co.uk/honda-forza-125- ... -exhausts/, do it even cheaper at just Under £440 plus £83 for the unnecessary cat, but if you must ................ In the UK CAT is a waste of time and money as bikes here regardless of age do not require by law to be tested for emissions at the time of the MOT.

Buying same Akrvpovic System from http://www.m4tuning.com/de/honda-forza/ ... a-125.html will save you even more cash as they also offer free shipping.

€500.53 = £352.19 plus free P&P

However there will be at least 4 week waiting list as there is no physical stock yet available. Only Honda exclusive systems have been manufactured to get them shifted but even cheapest price I was quoted £600 is fairly steep. Although I prefer Honda Exclusive part to go with my white Forza.
