Good morning, I do not know if the way someone here is.: In time I bought an alternate engine for my pcx 2010, the engine I gave 100 € is a esp engine of 2012.
It came all disassembled and inside boxes.
I have been slowly repairing it, from what I have seen, it is practically the same as in 2010, with different connectors.
like this one in my topic, some of the tests that I already did at the injection level, although the injector is different, the debits are the same ...
I hope you like the photos . any question you have

..

So, you bought a box of parts and they told you it was an engine, lol. Looks like good progress.

Will an ESP engine fit a pre ESP frame?

Yes, but only if you have an alignment jig and good welding skills.

If you get that engine up and running you will definitely be a pcx whisperer!

SOOO, as far as I know the first esp engined pcx came out in mid 2012 as a 2013 model. We bought one. Still riding it. There are some visible differences between the 2011 non-esp PCX and the 2012-2013 esp PCX. Maddiedog took his non-esp completely apart for all of us to see, but some things were different when we compared the two bikes. I am thinking that the engines should be transferable as long as the ECU goes with the engine.
Good luck on your endeavor. Let us know when/if you get it running.

good people, first of all let me tell you, that for good I do not answer soon because my English is not so good - lol I have to translate so I can read and write .lol so if something goes wrong .. lol let me know ... hahah

in relation to the esp engine (I said it's 2012) but I'm not sure it could be 2013/2014, I just bought it on www.olx.pt, I only knew that the engine was dismantled because I was using oil, the workshop honda where was the boy "old owner of the engine" according to the honda seriua cheaper to put a new engine to repair these ",, yes it happens a lot in portugal .." of less work and who has a lot of money does not care..lol

.. I saw difference in relation to my engine:
-All the injection system is different.
-The air filter housing is different.
-The bursts of the "where it holds in the engine" box are different.
-The plugs of all the motor wiring are different.
-The cylinder is different.
- the exhaust port "in the cylinder" is different
- at the radiator level, and the variator did not find any differences.

So they engine mounts are different...... “where it holds in the enginebox are different”

Im not trying to be awkward but I think you are rebuilding an engine that won’t fit your bike? Unless you are just going to rebuild the original engine?

Hi. I do not know if the engine attachments to the bike frame are different, I just bought the engine in case I need material, have it here to get me out of the way. because the € 100 I gave for the material it brings was more than well bought.
