What got changed?
Nothing just modified stock springs

Can you back to stock?
Yes if you have stock parts in your inventory

Performance springs?
Possibly a vendor sells performance springs that you can swap out

Seriously don't argue with the Scottish about anything. There is no common frame of reference, just keep on with real life...

The height of speed-humps in the UK varies, some are nice to go over and some are horrible even at slow speed. Lowing the height of a vehicle in the UK may not be a good idea. Do they have speed-humps in the US? < not ridden there and do not often go there so not sure :)

You can generally ride round the ones down here. Bonus, no slowing down

on my zuma I slid the fronts up higher into the triple tree
keeping the same travel, but made it lower

I had to cut out some of the plastics above as the shocks would hit and rub
but thats stuff you dont see

is that possible for the pcx

I don't know for sure but i don't think so as the forks are scored so they lock into place

Mike,

it's possible but i would not advise it, as they have this notch or indentation for the top bolt.

PVC spacer in the shock tube, would rise the bike if you wanted that 4x4 mode!

I like the cost of this mod (FREE!!!). I wouldn't do it on my PCX though, the suspension already bottoms out for me over some bumps. I can't imagine how easy it would be to bottom out with less spring. My city has a lot of potholes and I do a lot of curb hopping, so I can imagine this mod would work well for someone in a city with well-maintained roads.

Did you notice reduced cornering clearance? I removed my centerstand for more cornering clearance and to prevent the infamous crankcase break that only happens on the 2011 model, but I still rub my plastics from time to time. This would bring you closer to the ground, meaning less potential lean angle.
Currently ride: 2011 Honda PCX 125 - Upgraded windshield and seat, keeping this one mostly stock
