UK price hike

Post by gn2 »

Anyone in the UK thinking about a Forza 125 should have a chat with their dealer very soon, apparently its due for a price hike next month.

Thought it already went up £450 some months ago, as some FB people have been talking about that for a while - from £3900 to around £4300ish. It was too expensive for a 125 before the hike.

It might not be a price hike as such. More that the currency in your pocket is worth less?

You need independence you do. And quickly.

Can't come quick enough for me

My goodness ! How much is a similarly sized Vespa ?
That's a crazy sounding price for a 125 Honda.

The Forza 125 is quite a lot of scooter, in terms of body size its more like the Forza 300 than a PCX, still only a 125 though.

Recommended retail price for a Vespa Primavera 3V ABS is £3999 on the road, including all taxes etc ready to go.
The Vespa GTS Super 125 4V ABS is £4799 and the 125 GTS Touring is £4999
The two stroke PX125 is still listed at £3599

He means the Vespa PX125 2T, not the PCX.

Seems the PCX is a great choice for a wonderful 125 scooter - ok, no ABS but it handles well, gives great economy, has perfect performance for commuting in town, and is still at an ok price point for western countries.

I bought mine in September for £3700 - brand new. Guess they knew the new 17my was imminent - so trying to get rid of stock.

17my comes with keyless start, Michelin Tyres, new colours & tuned suspension, price is £4300. Mine is fine and wouldn't pay the extra for the small changes made. Bulk of the cost comes from keyless start & Michelin tyres.

With regards to Vespa, if retro looks don't bother you, I'd have a Honda all day.

PCX ( too small for me at 6ft & 15st ) and Forza are great scooters.
