Honda forza 125 uk cost.

Post by danieljw »

and the magic price is: £3995

More than I expected it must be some serious piece of equipment for that price!

My dealer is expecting their first delivery sometime next week

Just thought I would inform anyone who was curious as I couldn't find nothing on the web.

Hi
Just got a Email from a Dealer.
There seems too be some confusion about ABS as standard or not.
They Dealer claims ABS is standard.Other dealers say its optional.
The Price is 3999£ If you add a top box and maybe ABS then you looking at around 4300£.
That just ridiculous!.For 200£ more you get a Forza 300.
Seems we in the UK allays get a poor deal!
The price in France is 3380£ including top box and ABS.In Germany 3650£ for the same.

I was in Germany last week and rented one for a day.(You can rent Bikes from dealers over there!)
It is a good looking Scooter and well build.I got up to 115Kmh on the autobahn, mind you it was a bit scary.
I find the seat too hard after 1 hour it became uncomfortable.the S Wing 125 is more comfortable.
To get around town(Berlin) was good its very agile and responsive.
Would i buy one ? No,not for this price. Its just to much for what it is.
I think i get a S wing 125 i owned one bevor and it has never let me down.
There some good deals around dealers clearing there stock.

The Forza 125 will not be offered without ABS.

4k+abs extra..................OUCH!.....I was thinking of getting one of these but i aint paying that much! I only paid £2100 new for my 2013 pcx 125. Is an upgrade to a forza 125 with ABS really worth double the cost of my PCX?????

Nope, £3995 is the price for the Forza 125 which has ABS as standard.
There isn't a non-ABS model.

There will be bargains to be had as dealers clear out stock of S-wing 125s, these are significantly better scooters than the PCX.

Why don't you go make the S-Wing forum? rather then consistently downtrod threads on here?

http://www.hgbmotorcycles.co.uk/forza%20125.html (some more pics and info for those across the seas).
It will be interesting to see how Honda does with Forza 125 sales. I like the look of the blue/white beasty but not the cost/performance ratio compared to other 125's. On paper it has 2Kw more power than the PCX and the same torque at 1250 less rpm, but those that have tested it say it seems lethargic compared to the PCX!
It may be best for those wanting more power left at the top end to get a better bike licence and other make of scooter/bike.

Those 2kw are an increase of roughly 25%, but £4k is a shitload of cash for a 125.
You could get through a full bike licence and pick up a decent used 300cc scooter for less.

That's a very good point.. I've had my PCX for nearly 4 years now and thought the forza might be a good change.. Now thinking of looking into a used 300cc....

Even a brand new 250/300 can be cheaper, you can get a Daelim Advance S3 250 for £3000 (+ otr) and that includes a free colour matched topbox.

Or a barely used minter for less than a PCX

Ive owned my 125 Forza for about four month and I am delighted with it. £4000 is a fair amount of dosh but I feel it is worth it. It feels solid and luxurious ...loads of storage...good wind/weather protection..good brakes...handles well...dials easy read in direct sunlight...very nippy....good acceleration...good top end speed...comfy...adjustable screen...you gets what you pay for.
