What size, brand of tire did you put on?

Do you know what caused the ABS light to stay on?

I put same tire that came on bike Dunlop Scoot/mart 140/70-13 M/C. Also put new pads on. The pads still look good at 6000 miles. I didn't have the right tire pressure in tire is all I could think of that might have triggered abs light. Thought I would wright this up in case someone else has this problem.

I wonder if it's detecting what it thinks is a difference in speed between the two wheels?

I think the ABS system does a calibration in the first 20 meters and then the ABS light goes off if things are OK.

I have 60,000 km on my Forza 300 and have worn out a few tires. I have never had to reset the ABS.

Any chance dirt or rag could have gotten into the ABS slotted ring on the wheel?

I have Michelin CityGrips on my Forza and they are slightly bigger than the ScootSmarts. ABS works perfectly OK.

On Thursday a delivery truck came out from behind a hedge onto the road without stopping. The road was full of dirt from previous trucks. I had slowed down a little but I still hit the brakes HARD. ABS chirped a bit but I came to a complete stop very quickly with the Forza still upright. I like ABS!!!

Four decades on two wheels has taught me nothing, all advice given is guaranteed to be wrong

OK, do you have the Forza Owner's Manual? I would suggest reading it. It is available online if you do not have a copy.

Yes I do have Service manual. Yes I know light is supposed to go off at 6 mph. I only posted in case someone else has this problem it might help in troubleshooting their scooter.
