No dipped headlights

I recently lost the dipped beam on one headlight and shortly after the second one as well, full beam was still working OK.

I replaced both headlight bulbs which did looked as if they had failed but still have no dipped headlights, only full beam

I have check all fuses in both fuse boxes and these seem OK.

Can anyone help explain what could be wrong to cause both dipped beam not to work while main beam does?

What country are you in? In Canada our headlights are on all the time.

Bike is a NSS300 brought 2014 in the UK.

Yes it's the same the headlights are on all the time. Both bulbs went with a couple of week of each other but after changing both bulbs (which had blown) still no headlight, only on high beam.

Try jumping the handlebar switch, make a small jumper from a piece of wire and jump from the high beam to the low and see if it works. I think its a white for low beam and blue for the high. Let me know if that works.

Do you have heated grips or any other sort of accessory fitted to the Forza?
The reason I ask is that headlights are often used as a constant power source.
But they're not, since they stop passing power when you use the high beam...
Anyhow, if you do, and said heated grips or other also don't work, that might be your source - a failed tap.

Sounds like either you didn't connect the new bulbs properly or the connectors are badly corroded or broken.
Did you check the new bulbs were working in the connectors before you fitted them into the headlamps?

Can't remember if it was related to this, but some time ago someone posted they purchased new bulbs and they did not work - it seems there wasa faulty batch made wrongly. That said, it looks almost certainly like a switch/wiring fault - maybe worth juggling the mult-way connectors under the front farrings.
