Forza 300 flywheel puller

Post by aguim »

Hi folks,

I'm new here. My Forza 300 doesn't need it now, but can anyone tell me what size/threads is the flywheel (alternator) puller for it? The shop manual says nothing about it, and I'm not sure
the pullers I already have would fit (M35x1.5, M33x1.5). Thanks.

3 weeks later : I found that the puller is the same as the CH250's (1985 or so): M33x1.5. (Google
says, when searching Honda p/n 07933-KM10001). MOTION PRO has it (p/n 08-0390), but they don't seem to be aware that it fits the Forza also. 135$ Honda vs 47$ Motion PRO...

I have ordered the MP one from FortNine here in Canada, trusting Google...

You are very unlikely to ever need one.
Four decades on two wheels has taught me nothing, all advice given is guaranteed to be wrong

Very unlikely, indeed. But I work on lots of other bikes, and lacked the M33x1.5 one, which is used
by Yamaha, Suzuki, KTM among others. These flywheels can often be removed using the starter clutch
threads +3 prong- type pullers, but the internal thread-type puller is tops.
