If you have a parking brake...

Post by homie »

and it does not work, and not all of you new people have the parking brake as it depends on where you live. Adjust it this way because most dealers don't do it out of the crate for you. Use the P-brake with caution because it has no indicator light and it can be easily forgotten when its on.

adjusting the parking brake
put the bike on the center stand

1. pull the left hand brake lever with a healthy action and hold it in.
2. pull the parking brake knob out and let go of the knob then the brake lever
3. roll the rear wheel by hand... if you can the brake is not adjusted correctly

releasing the parking brake
pull knob and push the center pin

redundant video... but can't be said enough because who needs to frustrate over this silly feature that can do more harm than good.
