Exhaust

Post by trigg123 »

Hi
Can anyone tell if the exhaust is different on the '13 and '14 models. Arrow now do an exhaust for the 14 model year. Don't want to order if it won't fit my 13 model year version
Cheers

Check the local Honda parts online and compare the relevant part numbers used for each year...
that's usually one way to check parts cross compatibility.

FWIW, webbike.japan shows some aftermarket parts that fit both '13-'14.

The two year models share the same exhaust. Going to order the full arrow system in the next few days. After having one on my Pcx I know it will be a good quality system

There's confusion here.
In the USA 2014 means 2013 and in the UK a 2014 is the new facelifted model.
Which has a different exhaust.

What's new with the UK's 2014 Forza? I haven't read anything new in regards to the Forza. Crazy they'd change it so soon.

I told you there was confusion here, I thought this was about the different models of PCX.
There are no different year related models of the Forza 300.

It'll be fine.
The Forza went on sale in 2013 but was described as a 2014 model in most places.
There haven't been any changes yet.

Where did you order it from, how much?

Got it on ebay, £244 delivered for the full non cat reflex 2 system in stainless. My local dealer couldn't get near the price, seems to retail around £300+. Had one on my Pcx was a great good quality and not too loud system.

Please, what is gained by this exhaust?
To change the noise from stock, add more chrome to the side view, weight reduction of about a can of beans, or?

Only gain is rustproof material saves having to constantly repaint the silencer.

How does it sound? I have seen/heard videos of the very expensive exhausts on the Forza{Yoshi and Akrapovic} but I refuse to pay that much. Interested to hear this one.

@ fish and why - better sound, better looks, less weight, no rust. However unlike all the claims there is little if anything gained in performance. But the sound makes you think it goes faster.

Hi
Yes it's got a nice note,I had one on my pcx,so very pleased. I leave the killer in as I prefer that sound, to be fair I haven't ridden it yet as the weather has turned for the worst. Also quality a fit is excellent. For sub £300 it's a superb system
