My Dealer called me, i got no notice. Then he called back in a week to say the pump was in. To cold to take it in now, but my Forza was the only Forza they had all year so i know the pump is waiting for me.

Chance your arm and ask if he will uplift it to get the recall done. You never know until you ask.

The fuel pump that's in is the recall. According to the dealer he said they were notified by Honda to replace the fuel pump even thought it had already been replaced.

You can check your VIN # at... http://powersports.honda.com/ and click on Product Recall Information at the bottom.

I talked with Honda and they said the recall notices should be out in mid-December.

I have a NSS300A (ABS) and it is included in the recall.

You all have a great Thanksgiving!!!

In Italy Honda Italia has started the recall campaign for 3500 Forza NS300, MSX125 ad SH Mode 125 (at 80% are Forza NSS300). We are waiting Honda's letter to have the replacement by an official dealer absolutely free of charge.

In Italian forum we haven't news about other issues. Can be the problem relate to fuel's temperature ? In Italy all issues happened from June to August.

best regards

Well I just did 58 miles on the new Forza with new fuel pump and she ran like a champ! It actually took just over four weeks for the dealer to get the part on Tuesday of this week and he had it in after Thanksgiving on Friday.

recall work completed at main Honda dealer and in 2 hours...seemingly successful...apart that is from the garage breaking a small part of one of the panels they removed...so thats now on order with a 10 day delivery .... but Forza running well...but then it always has.

Recall worked completed yesterday. It took my dealer 4 hours to complete the fuel pump replacement. They quoted 1.5 Hours. On my drive home yesterday it worked just like before, no issues. The dealer said that this is the second fuel pump replacement they did, and the first one took 7 hours. They are complaining that they only get 1 hour payment from Honda.

I don't understand your reply. Since you don't own one, why are you here in the Forza Forum?

Had my recall done today. The mechanic did have trouble with the seal on the fuel pump as other people have reported - OK now.

I have not heard of the seal issue on the recall replacement and I don't think my dealer had any problem with it. Was it leaking on the floor?

The seals supplied with the new pumps are very difficult to fit.

Yes.
The mechanic will be the person having the difficulty.

Took my Forza to one of those mega Honda power stores....30 miles distant (40 F./ rain)
They were not the dealer who sold me the scooter but they had the new pumps in hand and offered to do my fuel pump recall install, even though I do not have the letter yet. They did a recall on a Forza3 days ago...so mine was not the first. Serv. man. stated the panels are the hard part.
They said all dealers receive the new pump per the # of Forzas they've sold.
They worked me in, without an appointment. I was out the door some 6 hours later (to be fair, have no idea when they started work on my scooter) They broke tabs on the spoiler cover, wheeled in a Forza from the show-room floor to scavenge parts - broke the spoiler cover on that one, too! He showed me both.
Part is on order for me (and them) - I will pick it up and install myself because it is a simple snap fit - the hard part was the removal. Wonder why Honda made these things such a risky removal job? ...this is not the first broken panel I've read about with these fuel pump fixes.
Forza ran great going in - and coming home. No difference.

Since I haven't had any issues after 10,000 miles, makes me think I'm better off not doing the fuel pump replacement rather than have some noob tech muck things up. I've never ridden more than 20 miles from my house anyways.
