accessing the tyre valves

anyone solved this problem...
On my last bike a Honda SWing the tyre valves were right angled so meaning easy connecting to the air pump at the garage (my first bike since many years ago so I thought all tyre valves were like mine)
Just tried testing my air pressure on the new Forza and as the valves are straight valves I cannot get connected..managed the front after contortions but the rear just impossible ...anyone had this problem and solved...yes I know "fit new right angled valves" but is there any other solution?
This seems like a totally stupid design fitment by Honda.
I am in the UK so perhaps garage air pump fittings in other Countries are different?

Standard practice is to use a 90° adapter, or get a pair and leave them permanently attached.

As your in the UK, try Sainsburys - free air and the air-pump connector they have fitted at their petrols stations is straight with a right angle bit on the end. Should be ok?

Iceman...thanks for that ...but not the Sainsburys in Stirling...as thats where I go and tried there...but thanks anyway..will get one of the adapter things as when travelling around dont want to get caught out. I am not the most experienced "biker" but wonder why the likes of Honda dont just fit tyres with the right angled valve?....As I said I assumed all bikes had those as my SWing had them!...silly me.

You can get new right angled ones fitted when you get your tyres done! (may not be a while though?)

Or use my method which is leave them alone and don't check them.
The more times you check your pressures the more chance there is of your valves leaking.

that sounds like me as well!...however as its a new bike I was checking the pressures as from collected from the dealer... Managed to check the front one after contortions and it was "miles" out!!..way high.......so need to check the rear one as well. Have ordered a couple of the connectors ( thanks for the tip.) so will be able to next week.

Tat on the end of your tyre valves which are safety critical?

dergav, Hi! when you receive your 90 degree adapters attach them, check your pressure, adjust as per manual specs then replace them with the stock valve caps. Done. You can store your 90 degree adapters in your glovebox with a good tire gauge.
Good on you! It's proper to check all vehicle tires. Consider it a checklist item before a ride. It takes little time. Be responsible, be safe, be confident....and Have Fun!
