I goto NAPA, Autozone, or Advanced auto and get the Bosh 3300

Genuine Honda one costs less than fifteen dollars.
Can't believe you would bother trying to find one cheaper than that given how long it lasts.

..........Honda sells them for $20 here in Canada, and i was told by the parts guy that that's a steal compared to some of their filters.
But you need to change them at every oil change. That's every 3000km right?
Which is about every month. So there goes $20 for the filter and $15-$20 for the oil (yeah, this is Canada).
That would buy 3 gal gas and get me 240 miles down the road.

Yes and no.
Yes: you change them at every service
No: after the first service at 1000km the service interval is 12,000km or a year whichever comes first

Just a thought to share after reading this...

I sometimes flush the engine with a little spare oil. It adds another couple of steps to the process but helps get rid of any nasty bits in the engine.

After you remove the old oil and filter, simply clean and re-fit the OLD filter first. Then top up with oil as normal (I even have been known to use car oil or whatever is laying around).
Run the engine for a few mins then drain and remove filter as before.

This is a quick "flush" if you like to call it that using a cheap oil, not any nasty chemicals.

It helps, especially in high-mileage engines that haven't had an oil change in years and look like treacle.

Resurrecting an old post, but discovered today that FRAM makes a filter that is up to the same specs as the Honda Filter. FRAM XG6607 and is sold by Wal-Mart for $9. If there isn't a dealer nearby or want a bit of a break on pricing, check this one out.
