New owner ... Noticed a few things

Post by bpmch02 »

Hello everyone, just got my forza the other day and noticed a few things I was wondering about.

First: the passenger foot pegs are a bit "loose" in that they don't snap as tightly and seem to sit a slight bit away from the bike even when closed...one is worse than another. Anyone else notice this or know if it's normal?

Second: my brake fluid on one side is totally full and has no bubble where the other side has a little bubble...normal/ok?

Finally: my oil dipstick shows oil level in the middle of the stick...manual says that's normal but should it be higher towards the top having only 80 miles on the bike?

Thanks!

First, Congratulations of your new ride.
Passenger pegs, seem normal, mine are the same.
Oil is fine in the middle, brake fluid is also fine.

Thanks and thanks! I really like it, installing the tall windshield today, the little one was just too windy for me...

bpm,
Congrats and enjoy the ride and attention you get. If you worry about all the what IF's then you aren't going to enjoy it as much.
At 600 mile service and next oil change it is still going to be at the mid level if the right amount of oil is put in.
Think about getting those miles/memories and what tires or accessories you want to put on it.
2nd thought, don't even think about those because it will eat up all the money you saved on gas!!!!!!

Thanks for the replys.

Just put the high windshield on today and it really helps with the wind!!

I did notice a small dent on the v shaped trim piece after reassembling everything...looks like it may have been damaged in shipping...gonna talk to dealer about getting a replacement trim piece ubder warranty hopefully.
