Maybe buying a 2015 Forza

Its this one.

Dealer seemed firm on $4500 USA dollars OTD. I might counter $4400 and change the oil and filter for me. ;)

Question is about the recalls. All I have to do is bring the vin number to the Honda dealer and even if I am the 2nd owner or 3rd can receive recall service if it had not been done.

Why $4,400 when it's up for $3,999?

That 4400 is the final price with fees, tax, etc.

I was thinking of maybe the 2018 Kymco Xtown 300i which is a new model and 3999 MSRP the dealer also said its OTD 4500 dollars. I have not sat on one yet no dealer has one in stock but the thing is if I ever need to resell it will be way more difficult selling a Kymco.

I see that this Forza has Cortech saddlebags and tail bag and a tunnel bag. That's maybe $250 or so if you bought them new. It also appears to have a Givi top box mounting plate installed, which would be another $100, if I remember correctly. The former owner probably kept the Givi top box for his new ride and left the mounting plate, which is specific to the Forza, on the scoot.

So there's that to consider. Those accessories probably raised the asking price somewhat.

All in all, a great scooter with low miles and useful accessories for a not bad price. I don't see anything wrong there.

I would look for a Forza with ABS but that's just me.
Bringing 600 pounds to a quick stop from 75mph while swerving in the rain can be done safety 99.99% of the time but that one time it can't be might be painful.

Those bags are needed if you're homeless....scratching the paint, otherwise.
ABS is very, very important -IMHO - but so is being in love with the scooter you walk towards every morning.
I might keep shopping for an ABS Honda for a few more weeks. A dealer $4000 (+$$) for a used non-ABS Forza is not that special a price.
I've owned both a Forza and a Kymco.
One engenders a feeling of like, the other love.
Yep, I bought into Honda mystique.
No regrets.

Yes to ABS.

Stupid farm truck driver who thought he was the only one on the road so he did not have to look where he was going.

Another deciding factor to getting the Forza beside resale value is the look from the rider's vies.
I look slim bars not those fat bars you find in Majestys and Burgmans.

Here are some angles of the new Kymco. It just dawned on me last night, I would not be pleased with the Kymco's asethics from the dash.

Of course I want ABS but I am kind of firm on getting this non ABS one now. I think the Forza has a unique motor and exhaust sounds, Its so quiet compared to anything out there. Like a sewing machine.

I ride one with CBS brakes and pretty damn good.No worries. There are advantages to ABS so I am told but haven't found them yet and hope I never do.

Well, its a done deal, I just put a non refundable deposit on the Forza. I agree with Fish its no a special price but Forza are hard to find around here even though its a big city-Seattle and I did not want to buy far away.

I hope to get 100 bucks on CL for all those bags in the ad. They threw a oil, filter and gear oil change. Some dealers automatically do that on free bikes I think. I really like that it has a higher shield the OEM one since I read the stock shield is useless.

I will be keeping the SYM HD200- which I rode 4k miles in 1 year. After owning it for 1 year I found the 1 leg position too tiring for over 2 hours, now with the Forza I can stretch out. The HD200 is a great bike, rather loud and vocal with all kinds of intake and exhaust sounds which might be a plus or negative depending on taste.

XMAX300- too expensive and too upright sitting-
Kymco Xtown 300i- will lose my shirt selling and oil changes are too frequent according to the reports

Good deal. Welcome to the Forza group. I would keep that Givi top box mounting plate and get a big Givi top box to go on it.

Best grocery getter ever!

Congrats,

Johnny

Going for the GP look...you can buy 'em in various sizes, and colors. The other side had same...but slightly different size to fit that panel.
When I sold it on....the buyer said he liked the sporty look and asked me not to remove them....nor the blacked out stock screen.
With the gold adj. levers and CB500X mirrors (not yet installed in this pix) - it was finished perfectly he said.
